NBC has picked up the sitcom for a 13-episode second (10th?) season, ahead of the debut of the show’s revival this fall.

Season one (9?) will be increased from 12 to 16 episodes total.

This quick-paced renewal for a show that has been off the air for ten years, shows the commitment that NBC and the cast and crew have for the series. “It felt like coming,” the cast remarked when reading the first new scripts. It looks like Will & Grace will pick up right where they left off both in terms of story-line (except the finale) and viewers. After ten years, the fan base is still with them.

Will & Grace will make its return debut on NBC Thursday Sept 28!
