As a darling critical hit and a no-brainer in the current crop of new TV Shows, this renewal shouldn’t shock anybody. HBO has officially renewed the sci-fi drama western for season 2. Due to it’s massive storyline and budget, it’s set to return in 2018, so fans will have to wait a little bit longer than usual.

Westworld 2.0 has a lot to prepare for with it’s estimated $100+ Million budget, and the eyeballs do not lie. The series averages 11.7 Million views and 2 million viewers each episode live. It’s bigger than both Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead in their first seasons, and it’s better too!

If this show is going where I think it is going, it can last just as long as these two TV series, if not longer! Not bad for the best show on TV.
