Hulu’s FBI drama about 9/11 has the chops to take on the Trump Administration in future seasons.

The series is about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, but it’s more than that. The series follows members of the I-49 Squad in New York and Alec Station in Washington, D.C. — the counterterrorism divisions of the FBI and CIA, respectively — as they travel around the world, fighting for ownership of information.

If you thought gathering information about Donald Trump’s sleazy lifestyle is not a tailor-made TV show. The Looming Tower will prove you wrong. Actors will win Emmy nominations just on facial expressions alone after the President tweets about them. Internal discussions among the producers and creators of The Looming Tower reveal that they have an idea for season 2. But it apparently deals with the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, not Trump. But since, the Bush administration was prominently featured in this season and Obama administration likely to be featured in season 2.  You never know.

The intelligence community constantly being attacked by the President. The drama unfolding around the Manafort and Cohen cases could make a great third season. And who doesn’t want to see Jeff Daniels take on Trump? While The Trump storyline would be an interesting topic to cover, perhaps they will pivot to Russia instead, once all is out in the open.
