The political corruption Drama Queen of the South has returned for a third season on USA, and the first episode dealt with the main character Teresa Mendoza on the run from Camila Vargas, a corrupt politician, not to mention drug dealer, with nothing but revenge on her mind.

She blames Teresa for the death of her husband, drug king pin and Governor when Teresa decided to go out on her own to build up her own drug empire last season. She is now chased across the world by Camila’s minions. With resources running low Teresa turns to shady crypto-banker Rocco, a man who seems to run his bitcoin empire out of the back of his European sex club.

She makes a deal with him. Some drug supply for some bitcoin. All in different denominations of the coins. Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum as she says. She then tries to haggle his finder’s fee by highlighting how fast her business has been growing internationally. Having Bitcoin being represented in the show by a crazy guy like Rocco, is not good PR for the community. However, as things go in the age of Trump, any news positive or negative, is good news.
