Is it the fact that Fox News has been nothing but fair and balanced in this Trump era of media? How much of that audience was tied to Bill O’Reilly? And has anybody checked on the life alert status’ of their audience?

Sure I kid, but Fox News has been slipping lately that much can be said. The news network is still holding steady in overall viewers for the week, but where it is slipping is with everybody else who doesn’t need Life Alert. CNN and MSNBC just beat Fox News in the 25-55 demo (everyday Americans). That does not bode well for Fox News who has maintained an iron grip on that demo for the past 17 years!

While anti-Trump Hollywood hysteria appears to on the rise, that can’t solely be blamed on the ratings loss. The constant shuffling of people around and schedule changes makes it harder for their key demo, decidedly not the 25-55 group, to keep up. And rising network star Tucker Carlson has gotten some, shall we say, “mixed reviews.”

Last week, MSNBC managed to get ahead of Fox News the first time in seven years becoming the most-watched cable news network in weekday prime time. Obviously, Fox News is feeling the pain as it continues to face lawsuits and questionable actions from hosts. It sure does look like Fox News is in a downward spiral.
