ISPs are Giving Employee Bonuses Citing End of Net NeutralityJohn J. Falco December 21, 2017 0 COMMENTS
Citing the GOP Tax Bill and the repeal of Net Neutrality certain large ISPs are giving their employees bonuses.
AT&T said it would give $1,000 bonuses to more than 200,000 employees in the U.S. once the tax bill is signed into law. It’s also planning to invest about $1 Billion into new infrastructure.
Following AT&T, Comcast is also giving employees $1,000 bonuses and plan to invest $50 Billion and more into US infrastructure.
The likely reasons AT&T’s investment number is not as high as Comcast’s is because AT&T is currently waiting for their approval to buy Time Warner. Which would be nearly $100 Billion itself.
Still no word on whether or not Verizon will be giving bonuses.
