Two main characters are leaving the island of Hawaii in what is the biggest cast shake-up, Hawaii Five-0 has ever seen.

Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park are leaving the show due to contract disputes. It’s reported that they weren’t being paid equally enough to the main stars of the show, Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan.

O’Loughlin, himself has stated that he doesn’t want to do the show post Season 8. So what does this mean for the future of Hawaii Five-0? Should the show still go on? How will they replace Kim and Park?

If ABC doesn’t push Season 8 to summer or pull it from the lineup completely they won’t be able to fill those roles on time for fall unless they are going to leave them empty-handed.
