To cord cutters who are sick of the mainstream media, Fox News will answer your prayers at the end of the year.

That’s right, Fox News will become the first cable news channel to launch a streaming service dubbed Fox Nation.

John Finley, who oversees program development and production for Fox News, said in an interview with the NYT:  “Fox Nation is designed to appeal to the Fox superfan. These are the folks who watch Fox News every night for hours at a time, the dedicated audience that really wants more of what we have to offer.”

Fox Nation will include original programming and different anchors with staple Fox News personalities dropping by from time to time. It will not interfere with their regular broadcast and no price point as been set yet. It remains to be seen when other cable news channels will follow Fox News into the streaming subscription world, but you can bet your money on it that they will.
