Newspapers are feeling the pinch and as they pair with Facebook for premium content placement many say that’s not good enough. They need to see a paywall on Facebook!

It is said that Facebook will not only steer their 2 Billion readers to the sites with paywalls, but that they will also block out readers from the site after they view 10 articles.

Facebook should let newspapers ban together and share advertising dollars from a huge paywall that they put up. Paying one subscription fee for a bunch of newspapers, instead of just yelling at users to pay for the content of each individual website or newspaper like the plan.

Facebook plans to launcher metered tier billing models, but it was unclear how it would do so for individual content.
