ABC Cancels American Crime, Last Man Standing; Renews Goldbergs for 2 Years

ABC has decided to renew the 1980s comedy, The Goldbergs for two years.
While passing on Last Man Standing and Emmy Award Winning American Crime.
I wrote recently that the writers of American Crime had an idea for a fourth season. ABC tried to find a place for a six episode fourth season, in their schedule, for next season, but the timing and the ratings, just wasn’t having it.
The Goldbergs however, are still biting their nails because no news has come for the 1990s Goldbergs spinoff I mentioned awhile back. It doesn’t look like it’s going forward at the network.
