This isn’t a misleading title. Called Loosely Exactly Nicole, the cancelled MTV comedy series marks Facebook’s first foray into scripted TV.

I am not talking about a TV show that is saved by USERS of the social network through a fan campaign. Facebook has been looking to get into original scripted content for some time now, and it looks like Nicole, is getting the first bite from the social network giant.

When asked, Facebook declined to comment on, “Rumors and speculation,” but industry analysts are certain of the move. Never heard of the show? That’s because it only 200,000 views before it was cancelled by MTV.
